Kit features provisions for reserve shut off rod which is not included. For hand shift applications and will accept 3/8 inch NPT petcock with male threads not included. Opening is on the left side forward on the tank. *NOTE: Check the shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand seams or joi nts. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will have to be shimmed when installed or achieve correct height. Tank mount bolt kit not included order separately. t in higher shipping costs.
