Raw tank set accepts cateye dash plate early 1937-1946 shifter gate and gas shut off rod kit. Drain plug is 5/8 inch-18UNF. Feed thread is 1/8 inch-27NPT. Vent hole for banjo bolt is 3/8 inch-24 UNF. Return Hole is 1/8 inch-27NPT. May require fuel rod alignment using V-Twin #16-0182 prior to painting and installation of the shut off rod assembly. *NOTE: Gas is on the left and oil is on the right. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
