HARLEY 2 inch Stretch 5.5 Gallon Gas Tank Fits 2001-2004 FXST, EFI models 2001-2004 FLST, EFI models

Gas tank accepts a left side petcock and has a fuel capacity of 5.5 gallons. Tank accepts left side fuel gauge. Tank requires block off plate for use with carburetor type. Order separately. Requires sanding and primer before painting. The fuel line fitting as well as the petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of either petcock or fuel line. The back of the tank is stretched 2 inch and does not affect the mounts. Tank shows a welded seam for rear stretch extension. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
