With welded on emblem mounts to accept 1966-1972 emblems. Features a bayonet type filler neck. Tank accepts stock dash and speedometer and accepts a bayonet type cap. Order cap set and petcock separately. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. All tanks or sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. Tank includes the external male threads to attach petcock with hex nut on 1975-1999 style models. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
