***LIMITED ITEM PLS ALLOW 4 BUSINESS DAYS HANDLING TO SHIP*** Raw tank set accepts cateye dash plate early 1937-1946 shifter gate and gas shut off rod kit. Drain plug is 5/8 inch-18UNF. Feed thread is 1/8 inch-27NPT. Vent hole for banjo bolt is 3/8 inch-24 UNF. Return Hole is 1/8 inch-27NPT. May require fuel rod alignment using V-Twin #16-0182 prior to painting and installation of the shut off rod assembly. *NOTE: Gas is on the left and oil is on the right. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. **NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs. *NOTE: Some 45 tank installation with a cateye dash will require 1/8 inch spacers on the top of the tank bolt to allow dash base to fit properly. 45 tank set space as required to allow fitting dash base and cover use 5/16 inch inner diameter washer between tanks and frame.
