Horseshoe oil tank features a raw finish and has the same width as early horseshoe oil tanks but measures shorter. Oil tank is for use with electric start applications in 4 speed frames. Oil tank is full size wrap around horseshoe style. York electric start conversions on rigid frame Big Twins requires the mount plate for installation. Clamps for battery must be fabricated. Order 1/8 inch NPT fittings and related hardwareas required. *NOTE: Will not accept an H-2 6 volt tall battery. Accepts a stock drain plug. *NOTE: Requires shorter 12 volt battery sold separaely. The battery compartment measures 114mm x 114mm x 146mm. *NOTE: Requires an oil tank base for installation on York electric starter kits. Mount plate allows extra space for electric starters. The plate allows for mounting on 1936-1984 swingarm frames. *NOTE: Oil tank will fit 1941-1984 FL frames when an electric start system is installed. FITS HARLEY: 1971-1984 FL,
