This wrap around four quart center fill oil tank is for installation in rigid frames (stock replica or custom) with 4 speed transmissions with the York electric start kits. Tank includes a screw in dip stick cap. Clamps for battery must be fabricated. The battery will require spacing to secure in place by the builder. *NOTE: Batteries must be ordered separately. Electric start uses Anti Gravity 12 Volt 16 Cell Battery. *NOTE: The battery compartment measures 114mm x 114mm x 146mm. *NOTE: Requires an oil tank base for installation on York electric start kits. Mount plate allows extra space for electric starters. The plate allows for mounting on 1936 models. *NOTE: Oil tank will fit 1941-1957 FL rigid frames when an electric start system is installed. Required to use with #31-1741 Oil Tank Base Black. Suggested to use with #32-1500 York Electric Starter Kit. Suggested to use with #32-1503 York Electric Starter Kit. *NOTE: Tank has a left side chain guard tab and may have to be removed on some installations. *NOTE: Tank body is full height. The rear bracket is raised up to accept base plate to allow clearance for the York electric starter.
